Villenueve denied home NASCAR win
Jacques Villeneuve was left frustrated at losing out on a potential home victory after getting bumped out of the lead by Justin Allgaier on the last lap of the Nationwide Series race at Montreal. Making only his second start of the season and driving for Penske Racing, Villeneuve led 43 of 81 laps and held the advantage in a second attempt to a green-flag finish - which increased the original race distance by seven laps. The 1997 Formula 1 World Champion was able to stretch his fuel mileage enough to remain in the lead despite the unexpected longer final stint, but under braking for Turn 6 Turner Motorsports' Justin Allgaier ran into the back of Villeneuve's Penske.
