Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine joined Pete Sheppard and Steve Buckley on The Big Show Friday to discuss Dustin Pedroia's injury and the rest of the team.
The Red Sox are set to place Dustin Pedroia on the disabled list with a right injury, which Valentine confirmed. The Sox will call up infielder Pedro Ciriaco from Triple-A Pawtucket.
