Connecticut police and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents are setting up collection sites across the state where the public can drop off expired and unwanted prescription drugs with no questions asked. Authorities say medicines left unused in homes are highly susceptible to diversion and abuse, and studies show a majority of abused prescription drugs come from family, friends and home medicine cabinets.
