Lance Armstrong steps down from Livestrong as Nike ends contract

Lance Armstrong said Wednesday he is stepping down as chairman of his Livestrong cancer-fighting charity so the group can focus on its mission instead of its founder's problems. Armstrong's problems continued as�Nike Inc. said it ended its contract with the cyclist after a report from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency detailing his alleged use of performance-enhancing substances.
